Wow, a very dark ending, which has lots of room for interpretation. I like the shadow as the antagonist.

Thank you. I wasn't planning for the story to be that way when I was writing it but it seems to have turned out rather well.

The shadow really added a whole new dimension to the story. I would like to see it reappear somewhere. Or perhaps it could be something reoccurring.

The shadow could even become one of those writers characters which could span other books. Popping up in the same universe. It's like a signature.

I loved this story. It drew me in from the very beginning and I love the shadow! It could definitely be a long story! ^_^ The ending was the best part and was quite the surprise.
